Subject: NIQ for Laser Scanning Documentation of Gandhi Bhawan

The department of Gandhian and Peace Studies, Panjab University invites financial bids to conduct Laser scanning of the iconic modern building of Gandhi Bhavan: as part of the Conservation Planning of Gandhi Bhawan supported by the Getty Foundation under the ‘Keeping it Modern’ Grant.

The scope of the works is as under:

1.      Laser scanning of interiors and exteriors of Gandhi Bhavan with 360 degree photography

2.      Registration of the entire point cloud data in single coordinate system and generation of truview (image panoramic tour)

3.      2D drawing generation including 1 site plan including water body (with all levels) 3 plans (ground plan, mezzanine and terrace plan with all levels, 3 sectional elevations including wall and slab thicknesses and 4 elevations

4.      Material extant of building i.e. using laser to determine the nature of material in exterior and interior walls.

Interested surveyors are requested to give a financial quotation in lumpsum for this purpose within 10 days through registered post only from the date of this NIQ (09/11/2015). For any queries and submission of the final bid, please contact the chairperson.
